The BookBlogger Hop is hosted by Crazy-for-Books every week. It had been too time-consuming for a while, but she’s started it back up again. Basically, if you blog about books, answer a question provided and if you link to their post in your blog, you can add your blog to their list of participants. This week’s question is:
Do you have a keeper shelf for books you loved? What books are on that shelf and why?
I don’t actually have a “keeper shelf,” per se. I do have a couple shelves that are filled with my favorite books – basically all my young adult books, fantasy, etc. But I really don’t like getting rid of books. It’s probably some sort of psychological issue of mine, but it literally hurts me to get rid of a book once I physicallyownit. Once, I went through some of the old ones that I haven’t looked at since I was 5. And then again since I was 12 or so. But I’ve only donated children’s book that I don’t care about. I’m not kidding – I still have one and a half bookcases just dedicated to childrens’ books. So basically, my entire bookcase is my keeper shelf!
